Our Story
Our family created The Savory Texan to provide a one of a kind experience to clients in the local DFW area. With years of worldly experience in the entertainment, and food and beverage industry, we bring a unique approach to every event, ensuring that each one is truly unforgettable. That's why we cater good times!
Our Services
We offer professional event catering & package deals for everyone including weddings, corporate, private parties, graduations, in-home chefs, meal prep, cake bakers, boxed meals, bartenders, waitstaff, bar rentals, drink stations, Mocktail bars, coffee bars, catering equipment rentals, food concessions trailer, cotton candy spinners, onsite event catering and party rentals.
Bartenders & Waitstaff
We offer professional, TABC Licensed bartenders & Licensed Texas Food Handler Servers/Waitstaff
Bartender only is $40 per hour 3 hour min
Bartender package $50 per hour 3 hour min
125 9 oz plastic clear cups, ice bucket, a wine chiller, bar tools needed to mix, open wine & accommodate the clients drink menu, 3 garnishes, beverage napkins, 1 cooler, 20 lbs of ice, 1 TABC licensed bartender
Servers/Waitstaff $35 per hour each with 3 hour minimum

The Fajita Bar includes Spanish rice, beans, corn & flour tortillas,
our fresh salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, jalapenos.
Beef only $15.50, chicken only $14.50 per person
Beef & chicken fajitas $18.50 per person
The Taco Bar includes Spanish rice, beans, taco shells & flour tortillas,
our fresh salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, & jalapenos, lettuce.
Savory ground beef $12.50 add delicious shredded chicken $14.50 pp
Chicken only $12.50
The Nacho Bar includes savory taco beef, tortilla chips, salsa, jalapenos, sour cream, shredded cheese, lettuce, $11 pp

The Italian Bar includes, bowtie or penne pasta choices, Italian white wine cream sauce, a bold marinara red sauce, parmesan meatballs, sliced Italian chicken, a bread choice, delicious Italian salad with 2 dressing choices $18.50 pp

Servers/Waitstaff $35 per hour each with 3 hour minimum.

Buffet style food warmers are $5 each when using our staff.
Disposable dinnerware, clear acrylic 9" plate, clear fork, knife, spoon, white disposable dinner napkins. $.75 pp
Drink station with tea, water, cups, sweeteners, ice bucket, scoop is $.50 pp
Travel or delivery fee is assesd with the client

From all time favorites like southern sweet tea, flavored & unsweetened tea, signature cocktails and mocktails or try a gourmet hot chocolate and/or coffee bars! We have infused waters, fruit water, sodas, bottled water and more to suit any occasion.
